Dr. Shade' Reid (she/her) is a UK-born, Atlanta-raised healthcare leader with deep British Jamaican roots. As a seasoned Nurse Practitioner, healthcare consultant, founder, and innovator, Dr. Reid is passionate about building equitable, sustainable communities and democratizing access to healthcare innovation and venture capital.
Dr. Reid founded HealthCares, a consulting firm that provides expert advisory and fractional services to health-tech startups and venture capital firms, with a focus on bridging the gap between clinical expertise and entrepreneurial ambition. She is committed to supporting underrepresented founders, scaling innovative solutions, and fostering meaningful connections between startups and investors in the health-tech ecosystem.
