About Jason:

Dr. Jason Turi is a public health leader and registered nurse dedicated to improving health outcomes for complex, vulnerable, and marginalized populations. As the Director of Field Building and Resources for the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs, an initiative of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, Dr. Turi leads initiatives to advance the field of complex care. His work includes technical assistance, curriculum development, model co-design, and fostering multisector coalitions to address inequities in health and social outcomes.

With a background in nursing, public health, and English literature, Dr. Turi holds degrees from William Paterson University, Union College, and Boston University School of Public Health. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Public Health at Indiana University, focusing on global health leadership and strategies to reduce health inequities through multisector collaboration.

Dr. Turi’s career spans leadership roles in behavioral health, population health, and care integration at organizations such as Centerstone and NYC Health + Hospitals. He has designed and implemented innovative care models, engaged high-need populations, and advanced strategies for value-based care. Earlier in his career, he played a pivotal role at the Camden Coalition, leading nationally recognized multidisciplinary care management programs.

Beyond his professional contributions, Dr. Turi serves on advisory panels, contributes to equity-focused research, and advocates for incorporating justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion into public health leadership. His work exemplifies a commitment to systemic change and collaboration to create healthier, more equitable communities.
